Accessibility


The ICC Sydney is a purpose-built accessible venue; it has built-in accessibility features and technologies to inclusionary spaces such prayer rooms, parents and carers facilities, quiet rooms, and all gender inclusive options that cater to all guests. Find more information from

Venue Access
This ground floor entrance can be accessed from Tumbalong Boulevard, the Convention light rail crossing, the vehicle drop off point at Iron Wharf Place and Car Park 1 (P1). All these routes are stair-free and gradient compliant.

Lift
All five levels of meeting and function rooms within the Convention Centre are located to the left of the Convention Café and to the right of the Customer Service Desk.

Wheelchairs
All event rooms in ICC Sydney accommodate wheelchairs for audience members. Wheelchair access is available to all public areas. Accessible seating is available in all conference spaces. Please speak to ushers for guidance on seating locations.

Bathroom
Wheelchair and ambulant accessible toilets are available throughout the venue, including both left and right hand railing ambulant toilets.

Parenting Rooms 
ICC Sydney has pram and wheelchair accessible parenting rooms equipped with a feeding area, change table and food preparation area. Parenting rooms can be found in the following locations:

Exhibition Centre Level 2 — located directly to the right of Hall 3 entry
ICC Sydney Theatre Level 2 — located directly to the right of Door 4 entry.

Prayer Rooms
Two non-denominational prayer rooms are available for prayer, meditation and reflection. For those that require, a small number of prayer mats are provided in the rooms. The two prayer rooms can be found on Level 3 of Exhibition Centre, opposite meeting room E3.5.

Hearing loops
Infrared hearing augmentation systems are provided in all meeting rooms and theatres. Hearing augmentation systems in ICC Sydney allow guests to connect via Bluetooth, personal induction loop or lightweight headset. Both systems require an ICC issued receiver. Complimentary hearing augmentation devices (receivers) are available and can be provided free of charge with a form of photo identification. The hired device must remain on ICC Sydney premises and be returned at the conclusion of the day.
