The APSAD 2010 Organising Committee are working hard to keep registration and accommodation costs as low as possible.
Having said this, we are conscious that there are often significant costs in attending conferences and whilst the conference is making its own applications for funding to assist delegates, the need for this will surely outweigh what we are able to secure. As such, we strongly suggest you make your own enquiries. The following information may be a good starting point in regard to sourcing your own funding. Please note, we encourage you to explore each funding opportunity thoroughly to ensure that you are familiar with their specific requirements:
AER Foundation Conference Attendance Grants
Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations
Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
Parliament of Australia Guide to Community Grants
Other avenues for funding include your local government, relevant state governmental bodies and a variety of philanthropic organisations.
